About Me

Hi! I’m Stephanie, an active mother to three grown children, blessed with a wonderfully supportive husband, and also the proud grandmother of four young grandchildren. With 20+ years of extensive experience in the child and youth care field, I understand the challenges faced by working parents in finding a safe, secure, and comfortable childcare setting. Drawing from my own journey, I am committed to providing what we once sought for our own children - open communication, quality snapshots of their day, and dedicated time to ensure both you and your child feel at ease.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working closely with children and youth in various capacities, from the children's advocate office to group homes, treatment facilities, and daycare centers. This diverse experience has given me valuable insights that I now integrate into my own program.

Safety is paramount. My FIRST AID/CPR certifications are always current, and both my husband and I have undergone thorough police background and vulnerable sector checks. My husband does not work with the daycare however as a parent myself I feel it is important to know these checks have been done on a spouse as well.

When we made the move to British Columbia (many years ago - we are now located in Ontario), it was the perfect opportunity for me to create an ideal home daycare environment. It's been a true joy and privilege to be able to continue working with little ones in this way. There's nothing quite like witnessing the laughter, smiles, and the incredible growth of these young minds. Arts and crafts have always been a passion of mine, I previously was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for several years. We have a treasure trove of crafting supplies ready for all kinds of creative adventures.

In addition to crafts, I enjoy creating custom apparel and gifts, which I love incorporating into special gifts for both parents and children. I am also committed to maintaining a chemical-free environment as much as possible, using Norwex and Young Living Thieves cleaner in our home.
